Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Production Supervisor in Richmond, VA to lead team leads and hourly staff in a safe, productive environment. You will set expectations, provide resources, coach and train, and ensure accountability to achieve on-time production and quality goals.

You will develop standard work, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with supply chain, quality, and shipping to meet targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership position (team lead, supervisor, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leaders and hourly production staff; ensure a safe work environment and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive continuous improvement; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain production schedule meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Maintain inventory control for raw materials; collaborate with supply chain and QA.
