Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Monroe, WI, is seeking a Second Shift Supervisor to coordinate the 2nd shift across fabrication, welding, painting, maintenance, warehousing and assembly. You will work under First Shift Management and Directors to allocate resources, assign tasks, train staff, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and policy compliance.

This role requires strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, effective cross-departmental

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a manufacturing shift with multiple work cells.
• Knowledge of welding, fixturing, and setup parameters.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and drive corrective actions.
• Strong safety awareness and use of PPE.
• Ability to read measurements and use precision tools.
• Excellent communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Allocates resources, provides feedback, and ensures organized production.
• Assign tasks, assist, and train other personnel to support future growth.
• Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Issues written and oral instructions
• Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise on the shop floor and confers with supervisors, leads, and production personnel to resolve problems, keeping projects moving for the best outcome.
• Communicates across multiple departments.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors that support our Company Values.
• Perform inspections as required by company and customer standards.
