Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand, in Monroe, WI, seeks a Lead to drive daily operational excellence on the shop floor. The role translates strategy into clear direction, builds team capability, and ensures safe, efficient production.

You will troubleshoot floor issues, assign duties, inspect quality, and collaborate across Engineering, Quality Control, HR, and other departments to strengthen alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams on the shop floor.
• Knowledge of 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties and examine work for exactness and conformance to policies and schedule.
• Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor and coordinate with supervisors to resolve problems.
• Identify and move unfinished and finished products to proper locations using a forklift if trained.
• Ensure equipment is set up safely and that safety devices are in use.
• Perform inspections as required by standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Control, HR, and other departments to strengthen alignment.
