Job summary

MONROE TRUCK EQUIPMENT, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Monroe, WI, seeks a Lead to drive daily operational excellence on the shop floor. You will translate strategy into clear direction, build team capability, and maintain accountability and quality across manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include assigning duties, troubleshooting floor issues, moving goods with a forklift (if trained), and collaborating with Engineering, Quality Control and HR to strengthen alignment and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing operating systems.
• Proficiency in 5S, Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership with emotional intelligence.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with varied physical positions (squatting, kneeling, bending).

Responsibilities

• Assign duties and inspect work for conformance to policies and schedule.
• Troubleshoot shop floor issues with supervision to keep projects moving.
• Move unfinished/finished goods to correct locations using forklift (if trained).
• Ensure equipment is set up safely and safety devices are used.
• Perform inspections per standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Control, HR and others to align operations.
