Job summary

dfa in Wisconsin is seeking a capable shift lead to assist the supervisor in directing daily production, training staff, and covering breaks and vacations. You will help ensure a quality product, maintain GMP and safety compliance, and drive efficiency across equipment and processes.

The role requires strong teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. You will monitor adherence to specifications, document issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of manufacturing/production experience with leadership attributes.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in directing daily production activities and resources.
• Assist production shifts in the absence of the supervisor.
• Understand product flow and aid training for new/current employees.
• Perform duties of an operator, maintain records, operate, shutdown, and clean equipment.
• Fill in for vacancies on the shift with minimal notice as needed.
• Support safety as a priority and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and policies.
