Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking an experienced supervisor to assist directing daily production operations, assign work, train staff, and ensure safe, efficient production of quality dairy products.

You will lead a shift, monitor equipment, enforce GMPs and HACCP, document results, and promote safety while striving to improve product quality and throughput. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to changing production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of manufacturing/production experience, preferably in dairy or consumer goods, with demonstrated leadership.
• Certification and/or License may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities and resources of daily production; manage work assignments, training, breaks, and relief.
• Lead a shift; assist supervisor in their absence and ensure production of quality product.
• Monitor equipment, verify parameters, and ensure compliance with GMP/HACCP and safety policies.
• Document and report production results; identify reasons targets are not met.
• Promote safety, maintain sanitary environment, and pursue process improvements.
• Train and mentor new/current employees; maintain effective teamwork and communication.
• Handle priorities, resolve conflicts professionally, and safeguard information.
