Job summary

DFA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct and supervise maintenance staff, ensure safe and efficient operations, and drive preventative maintenance across plant equipment. You will work in a dynamic environment, coordinating with teams and management to meet production needs while upholding GMP and safety standards.

The role requires leadership, strong knowledge of facility systems, and the ability to plan and execute maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of maintenance or related experience with leadership ability.
• Experience following safety policies and procedures.
• Electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater, or plumbing licenses or certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign daily jobs and work orders and provide clear direction to maintenance employees.
• Implement predictive/preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Use SAP to plan tasks, parts, and descriptions; manage downtime and planned maintenance.
• Ensure staff understands work practices and procedures.
• Support maintenance manager; complete work orders and repairs.
• Lead preventative maintenance programs and monitor ongoing effectiveness.
• Serve as first contact for emergency maintenance requests.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Develop procedures and policies for the maintenance department.
• Maintain records using CMMS and databases.
• Assist with root cause analysis on breakdowns.
