Job summary

DFA is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the facility maintenance group, directing activities to align with production, quality, and cost targets. You will oversee preventive maintenance, equipment readiness, and regulatory compliance across the plant.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 3 years of supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving skills, with 15–25% travel. English proficiency is essential and the position involves coordinating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

BS Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline is required.
Minimum of 3 years direct supervision or management in maintenance/production.
Computer skills include Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD.
Ability to read, write and speak English; ability to work any shift.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct and control the Maintenance Department to maintain plant equipment and facilities.
Manage assets to implement preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with USDA, FSA, OSHA, ADA, EPA and DFA policies.
Oversee equipment readiness to run as scheduled and meet specifications.
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, lean).
Maintain equipment and facility records and drawings.
Budget control for the department within parameters and timeframes.
Travel 15%-25% (1-2 times per quarter).
Other duties as assigned.
