Job summary

DFA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for the ongoing upkeep of plant equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will direct daily maintenance activities, drive a preventive maintenance program, and ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and sanitation standards.

You will collaborate with inventory to ensure spare parts availability, utilize SAP for planning, and mentor staff while supporting capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of maintenance or related supervisory experience.
• Experience leading safety policies and procedures.
• Electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, or plumbing licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance staff and assign daily jobs and work orders
• Implement preventive/predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
• Use SAP and CMMS data to plan tasks, parts, and duration
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
• Oversee maintenance of all plant equipment and conduct root-cause analysis
• Coordinate with inventory to maintain spare parts and equipment levels
• Provide training and mentorship to team; manage promotions and timekeeping
• Support capital projects and development of maintenance policies
