Qualifications

• 2–5 years of maintenance or related experience with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of facility equipment and safe work practices
• Knowledge of supervision, training, and personnel management
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Certification/licensing in electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, or plumbing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign daily jobs and work orders; provide clear direction to maintenance staff
• Implement predictive/preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life
• Use SAP to plan tasks, parts, and descriptions for maintenance during normal operation and downtime
• Ensure staff understand work practices and procedures; supervise maintenance activities
• Support maintenance manager with timely completion of work orders and repairs
• Lead preventative maintenance programs and monitor performance and adjustments
• Serve as first point of contact for emergency maintenance requests
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of plant equipment
• Develop procedures and policies for the maintenance department
• Maintain records using databases and CMMS systems
• Assist in root cause analysis and capital projects
• Coordinate with inventory to ensure adequate spare parts inventory
• Demonstrate initiative and independent judgment; adapt to changing operations
