Job summary

DFA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Springfield, MO Retort Plant to lead daily maintenance operations and develop a skilled maintenance team. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, use SAP for planning, ensure safe, reliable plant performance, and contribute to a culture of internal promotion and employee growth.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with leadership exposure.
2–5 years maintenance experience with supervisory duties.
Electrical experience with motor control up to 480V 3-phase is required.
PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley (programming a plus).
Boiler experience required; HVAC experience preferred.
Knowledge of ammonia systems a plus.
Strong safety orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily maintenance operations and lead a skilled maintenance team.
Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset life and minimize downtime.
Use SAP to plan tasks with time, parts, and job descriptions for efficient maintenance.
Ensure staff understand work practices and safety procedures.
Support root-cause analysis for breakdowns and address issues.
Maintain records using CMMS systems and manage spare parts inventory.
