Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC, on behalf of a leading automotive supplier, seeks a Production Supervisor for the second shift in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will lead one Team Leader and about 25 employees in paint operations, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and engagement in a unionized setting.

Responsibilities include hands-on leadership, resource planning, monitoring line performance, maintaining coating quality, coordinating with Quality/Engineering/Maintenance, and

Competenze

• Supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading a Team Leader and ~25 employees.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or plastic painting processes is preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide hands-on leadership for second-shift paint operations.
• Lead a Team Leader and ~25 employees across loading, unloading, line support, inventory, material handling and quality.
• Plan labor/resources to meet daily production and respond to constraints.
• Monitor paint-line performance, quality, scrap, downtime and materials usage.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with procedures and PPE.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and Production to resolve defects.
• Troubleshoot automated paint line, robotics, conveyors and sensors.
• Ensure proper staging and documentation of materials.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings and handovers.
• Train and develop employees and reinforce standardized work.
