Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform and supervise a broad range of tests in an acute-care lab. The role supports transfusion services, microbiology, chemistry, hematology and more, with focus on timely, accurate results.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology and MT/MLS/AMT certification within 1 year. Strong communication and flexibility are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology.
• MT/MLS/AMT certification to be obtained within 1 year.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including second shift and rotating holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Performs laboratory testing of biological specimens in an acute setting using manual or automated techniques.
• Monitors workflow and adjusts to complete work in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy of test results and proper reporting.
• Provides training and guidance to lab staff and students.
• Maintains calibration and repair records for instruments and equipment.
• Supports quality control/assurance per established protocols.
