Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology.
• Certifications (MT/MLS) within 1 year if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing of biological specimens in acute settings using manual or automated techniques.
• Monitors workflow and adjusts to complete work in a timely manner.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports accurately.
• Calibrates and maintains instruments; documents QA/QC activities.
• Ensures proper specimen labeling and collection across age groups.
• Provides training and support to staff, residents and students.
