Job summary

As an Operations Support Associate at TQL, you will bolster our sales floor by resolving shipment escalations and coordinating timely solutions. You’ll support internal teams and customers with accurate, prompt updates while maintaining meticulous shipment records in TQL’s TMS.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, developing logistics operations expertise and advancing within one of the nation’s largest freight brokerages.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve shipment-related escalations including breakdowns, service failures, delayed deliveries, accidents, hostage freight situations and other transportation disruptions
• Support sales teams by providing real-time operational assistance and coordinating solutions to minimize service impact
• Monitor inbound and outbound communication flow to ensure response times and departmental service levels are consistently met
• Investigate disputes and operational issues, identify root causes and escalate concerns appropriately while maintaining documentation
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, carriers and customers to provide timely updates and resolution plans
• Prioritize multiple urgent requests simultaneously in a high-volume environment
• Maintain accurate shipment records and updates within TQL’s transportation management systems
• Identify trends and process improvement opportunities to strengthen performance and customer satisfaction
