Job summary

Daimler Truck North America LLC is seeking a capable supervisor for Second Shift outbound delivery operations in Buford, GA. You will oversee picking, packing, and route departures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standard work.

You will mentor hourly staff to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets while driving Lean initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, experience in warehouse/distribution operations, and knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or problem-solving experience.
• 3–5+ years in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics operations with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily outbound dedicated delivery operations including picking, packing, and route departure adherence.
• Coach and develop hourly team members to meet safety, quality, productivity and attendance goals.
• Monitor KPIs such as shipping accuracy and on-time departure and allocate staffing and resources accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with policies and Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
