Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor I for the 2nd shift in Buford, GA. The role oversees outbound delivery operations, collaborates with third-party carriers, and ensures on-time departures with proper safety and quality controls.

Responsibilities include leading hourly teams, driving Lean improvements, validating bill of lading accuracy, and coordinating staffing to meet peak workloads while maintaining service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics operations.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily outbound dedicated delivery operations, including picking, packing, bill of lading verification and route departure adherence.
• Coach, mentor, and develop hourly team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and attendance expectations.
• Monitor KPIs such as shipping accuracy, productivity, and compliance metrics.
• Coordinate staffing, workload planning, training, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.
• Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement through Lean and problem-solving methodologies.
