Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, HVAC, suspension, drive train and steering. You will work on site and on the road to keep our fleet running.

The role requires diagnosing multi-system issues, basic understanding of labor time standards, and 3-5 years of technician experience or recent graduation from an automotive

Qualifikationen

• Diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Experience with maintenance on Classes 1-8 trucks or equivalent equipment.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Recent graduates from an accredited automotive college or technical school welcomed within 3 months.

Aufgaben

• Maintains knowledge of vehicle components and systems and performs preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies and hydraulic/electrical systems; air/brake systems.
• Light engine repair and maintenance.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
• Heating and air conditioning.
• Welding and fabrication as needed.
• Provide safe road service when required.
