Job summary

Koch Foods, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor in Morristown, TN to lead and develop a team in a production environment. You will promote safety, schedule the production area, and drive performance with a focus on food safety, quality, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology, computers, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of plant operations, food safety regulations, OSHA, GMPs and HACCP.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and train a team, providing professional development through ongoing coaching.
• Safety is of the utmost importance; constantly promote safety throughout the work area and with your team.
• Responsible for ensuring proper scheduling to run production area.
• Motivate, train and help the team to optimize performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, and our established food safety programs.
• Optimize employee engagement through positive leadership.
• All other relevant duties related to the job of a supervisor.
