Responsibilities

• Trains kitchen associates to perform duties including plate presentation and display
• Writes schedules and directs all personnel
• Keeps open verbal and written communication between management and associates
• Writes and presents disciplinary action as needed
• Provides associates with tools and equipment to do their jobs
• Takes immediate action on problems in the kitchen
• Participates in meetings and inventory, and the MOD program
• Ensures high-quality food is prepared per recipe and delivered smoothly to outlets
• Helps set goals and standards to improve profitability and reputation
• Supervises kitchen staff when Executive Chef is absent and guides all kitchen staff
• Maintains records, roast meat charts, recipe cards, and prepares recipe cards and presentations
• Ensures payroll hours are submitted on time to Accounting
