Job summary

Genesis Hospitality is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. This full-time role requires overseeing all aspects of culinary preparation, staff training, and quality control for a high-volume environment in New Jersey.

The candidate must have significant experience, possess Serv Safe Certification, and demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a busy kitchen and catering events.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5+ years of experience.
• Serv Safe Certification is required.
• Strong understanding of professional kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve foods across pantry, salads, soups, sauces, and entree prep.
• Train and manage kitchen staff; supervise culinary activities.
• Estimate food usage and requisition or purchase ingredients.
• Develop and standardize recipes for consistent quality.
• Oversee catering events and culinary demonstrations.
