Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to support the Service team during peak seasonal periods. You will help with vehicle inventory handling, readiness, and basic maintenance tasks while training toward a future Service Technician role.

You'll learn through the TRAIL program and Rivian Learning Network, while providing cross-functional support as needed to keep site operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Technical experience in automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or related field is highly preferred.
• Desire to learn, adaptable, and hands-on learner.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license (no suspensions in the past 3–5 years).
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends and holidays; physical tasks up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain vehicle readiness through washing, detailing, and charging; manage logistics.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs and Pre-Delivery Inspection tasks.
• Learn to use basic hand and power tools under supervision; maintain tool readiness.
• Participate in training programs and pursue growth toward Service Technician.
