H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office in Washington. You’ll work with clients to gather information, prepare returns, and explain tax concepts, with training and ongoing support from day one.

Qualifications

Completed the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
Problem-solving and ability to organize information.
Comfort using AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients.
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions.
Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
