Job summary

Michaels is hiring at Palm Desert, CA for a team member role focusing on customer service, checkout accuracy, and in-store operations. You will assist customers, manage cash transactions to standard, and participate in merchandising and stock recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and go-back processes.
• Support store duties such as SISO and AD set.
• Assist shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
