Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Boca Raton is seeking a Seasonal Service Team Member to assist customers, operate the checkout, and keep the store stocked and organized. You will help shoppers find products, process transactions, and participate in unloading trucks and stocking activities.

Performance includes supporting omni-channel processes, engaging customers with rewards programs, and upholding store standards and safety guidelines. Flexible scheduling includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with cash handling and basic point-of-sale operations.
• Willingness to learn store policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms (POGs).
• Support store recovery, item returns, and general cleanliness to ensure in-stock presentation.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; be a positive role model for the team.
