Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store team member in San Diego, CA. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, truck unloading, and maintaining store standards to deliver our brand promises.

You will participate in Omni channel activities such as BOPIS and Ship From Store, follow SOPs, support safety programs, and promote Michaels' rewards programs while representing our values and the brand.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and store recovery to stay well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
