Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Service Team Member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and operate a fast, friendly checkout while maintaining clean, attractive displays.

You will help shoppers locate products, explain rewards and private label cards, participate in omnichannel processes (BOPIS and SFS), and support store recovery, safety, and loss prevention; evenings, weekends and early mornings are required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Lifting heavy boxes and reaching high shelves; ladder use may be required.
• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties; maintain store recovery standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs; promote the organization’s vision and values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
