Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring for a store associate at an Arizona location. You will help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions while delivering a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You’ll promote rewards programs and assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes. This role includes truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties, plus maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Comfort with standing and moving throughout a store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and collect feedback.
• Assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Maintain merchandised and in-stock store through recovery and returns processing.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Be positive, respectful, and serve as a role model for team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
