Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead crew members, train staff in the BEST customer service, and oversee daily store operations. The role includes opening/closing responsibilities, cash handling, and ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience while driving sales and managing expenses.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of management experience, and strong communication skills. A flexible schedule, including weekends, is expected.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly check-out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty and oversee store operations and staff.
• Open or close the store as needed, including cash handling and security.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses via merchandising and staffing.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
