Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic associate to support daily store operations and deliver WOW customer service. As Manager on Duty when needed, you will oversee staff, secure cash, open/close the store, and ensure merchandise is organized for fast, friendly checkout.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of management experience, and strong communication. Flexible schedule, weekend shifts, and travel as needed are expected; starting pay is $12.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and ensures fast checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures performance and service standards.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations, staff, and customer issues as needed.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, and ensures daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
