Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced store associate leadership role to oversee daily operations, train crew on customer service, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The position emphasizes strong communication, multi-tasking, and leadership to manage stock, maintain the sales floor, and support onboarding. Starting hourly pay is $16.00 with flexible shifts to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly check-out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure quality service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Maintain store upkeep, trash removal, cleaning, and stock room organization.
