Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced manager to oversee daily store operations and lead a team of associates. You will ensure outstanding customer service, train staff on the BEST service practices, and manage opening/closing procedures with cash handling and safety in mind.

The role requires a minimum of one year in management, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Position is hourly with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.
• Creative thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service at the register and floor.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily store activities and supports staff in achieving excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves ready.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff concerns.
• Opens or closes the store as needed, handling cash and security procedures.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and products.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising and recovery initiatives.
• Performs store maintenance and safety duties as required.
