Job summary

Schweitzer in Sandpoint, Idaho is seeking a seasoned Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in the Sky House kitchen, oversee prep, lead line cooks, and ensure high food quality and safety.

You will train staff, manage inventory, and collaborate across Front of House and Back of House to uphold Schweitzer's culture of Collaboration, Authenticity, Purpose, and Empowerment. This seasonal full-time role offers valuable perks and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in restaurant kitchen and line cook experience
• Idaho Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Strong leadership, training, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Train staff in collaboration with Head Chef and ensure recipes/portion standards
• Lead kitchen staff through service and manage expo, line stations, prep, opening/closing
• Oversee daily food production and inventory to ensure readiness and quality
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and storage procedures
• Collaborate with Front and Back of House teams to uphold Schweitzer culture
