Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in Sky House kitchen operations. You will supervise staff, ensure food quality, maintain hygiene standards, and assist in menu planning and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant kitchen operations and line cooking.
• Minimum 4+ years in restaurant kitchen/line cook roles.
• Idaho Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain it after hire.

Responsibilities

• Train staff in collaboration with Head Chef.
• Lead line cooks during service and manage prep and opening/closing tasks.
• Plan and direct food preparation for Sky House operations.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and supervise staff for efficiency.
• Manage daily production with accurate prep lists and timely setups.
