Job summary
The Memoir Agency seeks an On-Site Tech Manager to lead the show technology team for Dazzling Nights Orlando during the run of show, delivering daily direction, training, and support to AV Technicians and Show Control Systems Techs. During install and dismantle, you will act as Show Systems Integrator, capture redlines, and ensure equipment is accounted for and stored or repaired.
You will supervise the run of show period, maintaining Memoir quality and guest service standards.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of technical show production including audio, lighting, and effects and their protocols.
- Working knowledge of networked show control systems and basic IP networking.
- Ability to read technical documentation and capture accurate redlines.
- 2-4 years of live event or themed entertainment experience with leadership experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot power distribution and signal flow under time pressure.
Responsibilities
- Install and dismantle periods: lead load-in as Show Systems Integrator and document changes.
- Lead the tech portion of dismantle, ensure equipment is accounted for and stored or repaired.
- Run of Show period: direct, train, and support AV Technicians and Show Control Systems Techs.
