Job summary

Encore in Orlando is hiring a Seasonal Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. This full-time seasonal role reports to management and includes overtime, benefits, and hands-on training for growth. A May 2027 end date is anticipated with potential for reapplication based on performance.

The role emphasizes customer service, equipment operation, and collaboration with hotel staff and vendors to ensure seamless events and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s programs.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members operating Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Complete system entries and coordinate with staff/vendors for equipment needs.
• Assist with up-selling and accurate invoicing in coordination with clients.
