Job summary

Encore in Orlando is seeking a Seasonal Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems for events in a hospitality environment. This on-site role reports to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

This full-time seasonal position offers benefits, overtime, hands-on training, and potential reapplication for future opportunities based on performance. A high school diploma, customer service experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and break down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain hotel/client relationships.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues.
• Process equipment lists, enter orders, and coordinate with vendors.
