Job summary

The Memoir Agency is seeking an Audio Visual Technician for a seasonal engagement at Leu Gardens in Orlando, FL. The role covers daily show prep, technical activation, and nightly shutdown of AV elements, with an on-site location for the Run of Show period from mid-November to early January.

Additional Install and Dismantle periods run from mid-October to mid-November and again through late January, offering roughly 25 hours per week and extended hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience setting up and maintaining AV equipment.
• Working knowledge of AV signal flow across audio, lighting, and video.
• Familiarity with DMX and networked show technology.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work all shifts and outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain all technical equipment during shifts.
• Troubleshoot power or signal issues on-site.
• Keep cable runs clean, safe, and organized.
• Monitor attendee safety and escalate issues.
