Job summary

Encore in Orlando is seeking a Seasonal Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event execution.

You will work under the Operations leadership, handle on-site client interaction, perform basic troubleshooting, manage equipment sheets and Navigator entries, and assist with up-selling and invoicing as part of the hotel program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues.
• Manage equipment lists and coordinate with staff and vendors.
• Enter orders in Navigator and assist with invoices.
