Job summary

Michaels in Augusta, ME is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-store presentation while supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role requires standing for long periods and ability to move around the store; prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store; complete merchandise recovery and returns.
