Job summary

Michaels in Bangor, ME is seeking a part-time seasonal service team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising; participate in BOPIS and Ship From Store processes; and support store recovery to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store environment. Must be able to stand, lift, and work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Must satisfy federal, state, and local requirements to work in the U.S. (16+).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service in-store and assist shoppers.
• Provide fast and accurate checkout with proper cash handling.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to maintain stock and presentation.
• Engage customers about rewards programs and enrollments; support omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in store recovery, SISO, and AD set duties; follow SOPs and safety rules.
