Michaels in Biddeford, ME is hiring for a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and maintain a well‑stocked, in‑stock store. You’ll handle checkout, assist with online orders (BOPIS/SFS), and support merchandising and safety standards in a fast paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, are comfortable with standing and lifting, and committed to the Michaels Brand Promise.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock merchandise; handle returns/go back.
• Perform in-store stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote a positive store image.
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
