Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Customer Service/ Sales Associate in the KC-Liberty, MO area to assist customers, manage checkout, and participate in merchandising and stock routines.

You will help shoppers locate products, enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card, and support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes. This role stresses friendly service and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding products and providing solutions.
• Handle fast, friendly checkout with proper cash handling.
• Enrol customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Inform customers about VOC surveys and collect feedback.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Support truck unload, stocking, and maintaining planograms.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and go-back processes.
• Participate in in-store stock optimization and AD sets.
• Support shrink and safety initiatives.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; be a positive team role model.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
