Job summary

Michaels Georgetown, TX is hiring for a store associate to assist customers, stock shelves, and operate checkout with accuracy. You will participate in truck unloading, restocking, and store recovery while promoting the Rewards program and private label credit card enrollments.

Cross-training in framing is available. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred; expect a dynamic retail environment with opportunities to engage customers and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements
