Shenandoah Hospitality seeks a Retail Manager for Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park. You will lead the retail operation, oversee inventory, and ensure excellent customer service for millions of visitors annually.

You’ll train staff, drive sales, and maintain standards in a fast-paced environment. The role includes managing receiving, pricing, and displays, while maintaining ISO-related quality and environmental responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business or related field required.
Minimum 5 years of successful retail sales/business management experience.
Strong leadership and managerial skills with ability to coach and develop staff.
Excellent analytical and problem-resolution skills.
Effective written and verbal communication, and customer service focus.
Financial acumen with ability to drive revenue and manage budgets.

Responsabilités

Provide leadership within the retail and receiving environment to deliver excellent products and services and ensure guest and employee satisfaction.
Support and execute the business plan to maximize retail store performance and control costs.
Prepare and present weekly financial retail reports for senior management.
