Shenandoah Hospitality seeks a Season al Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and public spaces within Shenandoah National Park. You will ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions, including beds, floors, dusting, and supplies, to meet company standards.

Hourly rate is $16.00 with assignments at Big Meadows Lodge and Skyland Resort across the season. The role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and the ability to perform manual tasks in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to perform manual labor.
• Physical ability to work extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean guestrooms, lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facility, and other areas to company standards.
• Follow policies on work shifts, guest possessions, and privacy.
• Change sheets, towels, restock supplies, vacuum, dust, and tidy rooms after checkout.
• Return any guest properties found during service.
• Report property damage to supervisor.
• Clean, disinfect, and store equipment at shift end.
• Monitor and report inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Respond to housekeeping-related requests and spills.
• Transport trash to disposal area.
• Assist with laundry management including washing, drying, ironing, and linen storage.
• Log lost and found items and adhere to safety policies.
