Job summary

Michaels in Durham, NC is seeking a store team member to maintain a clean, organized shopping environment and deliver friendly customer service. You will assist customers, stock shelves, and help shoppers find products throughout the store.

You may operate the cash register, participate in Omni-channel processes, and follow SOPs to ensure excellent service and safety. Applicants 16+ years old with retail or cleaning experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to engage customers and provide friendly service
• Able to stand for long periods and move around a store

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of store cleanliness and general appearance
• Assist customers and help them locate products
• Operate cash register and handle transactions to standards
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store) and stocking/POG processes
