Job summary

Michaels Stores in Durham, NC is looking for a Store Associate to assist customers, stock shelves, and provide a smooth checkout experience. You will help shoppers find products, enroll customers in Rewards, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

This role requires reliable, friendly service, ability to stand long hours, and teamwork to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock. Flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and resolve questions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash accurately
• Engage customers with rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram adherence
• Complete merchandise recovery and returns processing for in-stock stores
• Follow SOPs and company policies and maintain safety standards
