Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member in Carlsbad, CA to assist customers, stock merchandise, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, restocking, and planograms to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

The role requires ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes, with potential overtime as needed. Benefits include discounts and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions in-store.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Explain VOC survey and collect feedback from customers.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock, clean merchandise, and handle returns/go-backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
