Job summary

Michaels in Eureka, CA is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining merchandise to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You may assist with BOPIS/SFS and enrollment in rewards programs. Candidates with retail or customer service experience are preferred; ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes is required.

Qualifications

• Stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with finding products and solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram upkeep.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and merchandise recovery; follow SOPs.
